RE: Letter of Appreciation

Dear Team Greyhound:

I am an animal trainer here at Chillicothe, and until your removal of the greyhounds I was a member of the Greyhound Program here at the institution.  I want to take this opportunity to express my gratitude to Team Greyhound for allowing me the chance to work with the Greyhound Breed.

Prior to my involvement with the Greyhound Program I had trained a wide variety of different breeds of dogs.  ......I transferred to the Greyhound Program because of my personal interest in the Greyhound Breed.  I have never regretted that decision because I have found the Greyhounds to be wonderful dogs.

* I find it most unfortunate that the greyhound program was terminated here......I am attempting to get a transfer to a different institution, and I'm hoping that wherever I end up will be a part of the Greyhound Program.

Once again, please accept my heartfelt thank you for the opportunity and exposure you gave me with the Greyhounds.

*  The program at Chillicothe was terminated due to problems with the way the program was run in conjunction with other dog programs at the facility and the distance involved to move supplies and dogs.
